Tests that Lamberts conducts on their products

Solid nutritional science has always been intimately woven into the fabric of Lamberts’ company. Not only do they go to great lengths (and expense) to sell products that have a clear scientific rationale, but they also take care to include relevant levels of all the key nutrients in their formulas. To ensure that Lamberts dietary supplements are both safe and nutrient-dense, they are being tested rigorously using the same technology, equipment, and standards as the pharmaceutical industry. And this means quality is always at the core of everything Lamberts does, including every single tablet and capsule they make.

Lamberts believes a supplement is only as good as its ingredients. Indeed there’s a stark difference between the cheapest raw materials and the top grades that are being used in their nutritional formulas. For the past 38 years, Lamberts has sourced their ingredients from well-established suppliers with a proven track record of delivering the highest quality. And though the ingredients often derive from international sources, they’re all tested for potency and purity in the UK. To detect contamination – something many raw materials are susceptible to – routine chemical analyses are employed. These tests ensure the following are absent or well below the permitted levels:

  • Heavy metals
  • PCBs
  • PAHs
  • Pesticides
  • Aflatoxins
  • Antibiotics
  • Genetically modified
  • Irradiated ingredients

Besides carefully inspecting their raw materials, the unique dietary formulas are subject to comprehensive testing, too. This ensures the nutrients present are integrated at effective and relevant levels. This means you won’t find any ‘window dressing’ ingredients in Lamberts products. Such scrupulous examinations also determine the levels at which these nutrients can be included in formulas safely. Lamberts supplements are systematically tested to ensure they disintegrate between 30 and 60 minutes after swallowing, too.

Lamberts Healthcare Ltd’s wealth of experience in nutritional health has taught that the best way to guarantee quality is to produce, test, and packaged their tablets in the UK*. As such, all their supplements bear the UK quality mark – an assurance they’re genuinely 100% UK manufactured to stringent GMP (Goods Manufacturing Practice) standards for food supplements.

*Just two of their products are made for Lamberts in specialist factories (Germany and Denmark). However, they’re still subject to the same rigorous quality checks in the UK prior to packing.
