The only significant food source of vitamin D is oily fish. Most of our vitamin D comes from the sun. 1 tablet contains 500 mg of vitamin C with rosehip and natural bioflavonoids. The time release tablet technology helps to dissolve the vitamin slowly over 6 hours, allowing the gut to absorb more of the vitamin. That way there is no excess vitamin C in the body and the level of this vitamin is even in the bloodstream and the tissues remain saturated for longer.

Vitamin C contributes to the normal functioning of the immune system and its maintenance during and after exercise * and helps to reduce fatigue and exhaustion. Vitamin C contributes to normal psychological functions, normal functioning of the nervous system and increases the absorption of iron.

Vitamin C also plays an important role in contributing to the normal formation of collagen. Collagen is needed for the normal functioning of bones, cartilage, blood vessels, teeth, gums and skin.
